MT-1（Melanotan I）

Melanotan I is a synthetic linear α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) analog (Ac-Ser-Tyr-Ser-Met-Glu-His-Phe-Arg-Trp-Gly-Lys-Pro-Val-NH₂) designed for studying the activation of melanocortin receptors (especially MC1R). In vitro, it activates the cAMP-dependent signaling cascade involved in pigmentation and photoprotection pathways. Melanotan I is widely used in receptor pharmacology and cell signaling research to explore peptide-GPCR interactions and transcriptional regulation.
