Pitalon

Pitalon is a synthetic tripeptide (glutamic acid-aspartic acid-arginine) that acts as a biological regulator in the central nervous system. It is believed to regulate gene expression involved in neuronal metabolism, resistance to oxidative stress, and brain plasticity. Animal studies suggest that Epitalon may enhance mitochondrial function, reduce neuronal apoptosis, and improve cerebral blood flow.

Its neuroprotective effects may stem from improved cellular energy balance and reduced excitotoxicity or oxidative damage, both of which are key factors in age-related cognitive decline.
